Supporting the National Festival of Archaeology 2019

A joint event for families with the SLHA & the Kirton in Lindsey Society

Investigate images and real and replica artefacts and explore how we can use them to find out about people in the past and how they lived.

Enjoy a selection of crafty activities inspired by archaeological artefacts from Lincolnshire.

Use a variety of craft materials including clay to make a jester’s head and card and embossing foils to create a piece of Roman style jewellery and your very own version of the famous Witham shield decorated with Celtic designs!!

Admission is FREE with a £1.00 charge for each craft activity

Children MUST be accompanied

Drinks and light refreshments will be available
