The Sawcliffe Hill Cemeteries
Sheffield's Hill is located between the Romano-British villa at Winterton and the Iron Age and Romano-British settlement at Dragonby. It is the site of 2 Anglo-Saxon cemeteries from the 6th and 7th centuries and has a fascinating story to tell. Dr. Kevin Leahy was part of the excavation team and will unfold the mysteries of the site.

The Jack Binns Story pt 2 – follow-up video
In 2019 John Allen told us the amazing story of Jack Binns - a local boy who became a radio operator on the SS Republic in 1909 and saved over 1,500 lives (still the largest high sea rescue to date).
